1. Service Agreement:
By engaging our dog training, walking/socialisation & homestay services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. This agreement establishes a legally binding contract between you (the client) and our company (Balanced-k9 Ltd).
2. Services Offered:
We offer professional dog training, walking, socialisation and homestay services tailored to meet your specific needs. Our services may include obedience training, behaviour modification, puppy training, pack walks, individual sessions, boarding and other related canine care services.
3. Client Responsibilities:
As the client, you agree to provide accurate information about your dog's health, behaviour, and any special requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that your dog is up to date with vaccinations, licenses, and other necessary paperwork.
4. Dog's Health and Safety:
We prioritize the health and safety of all dogs in our care. While we take reasonable precautions to prevent accidents and injuries, unforeseen circumstances may arise. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that we are not liable for any illness, injury, loss, or damage that may occur during training or walking sessions.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
We understand that schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a training or walking session, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
6. Payment Terms:
Our fees for dog training and walking services are outlined on our website. For weekly services payment is due prior to or on the week of service. For homestay and training please follow the terms on the invoice.
7. Liability:
While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of your dog, accidents can happen. By engaging our services, you agree to release us from any liability for injury, loss, theft, or damage to your dog, property, or any third party during training or walking sessions.
8. Confidentiality:
We respect your privacy and will treat all information shared with us as confidential. We will not disclose any personal or sensitive information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
9. Termination:
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice. Termination does not absolve either party of any outstanding financial obligations.
10. Dog Behaviour:
While we strive to provide a very high level of training and ensure the safety of all dogs, we cannot guarantee changes in behaviour or temperament. Dogs may react differently to training techniques, and results may vary. We will work diligently to address behavioural issues, but ultimate responsibility for the dog's ongoing behaviour rests with the owner.
12. Emergency Situations:
In the event of an emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your designated emergency contact. If we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care for your dog at your expense. You authorize us to make decisions regarding your dog's health and welfare in such situations.
13. Photographs and Marketing:
We may occasionally take photographs or videos of your dog during training or walking sessions for marketing or promotional purposes. By engaging our services, you grant us permission to use such media material without further consent or compensation. If you do not wish your dog's images to be used, please notify us in writing.
14. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of the actions, behavior, or health of your dog, or any violation of these terms and conditions.
15. Modification of Services:
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our dog training and walking services, including pricing, at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes that may affect your scheduled sessions or rates.
16. Entire Agreement:
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and our company regarding the dog training and walking services provided. It supersedes any prior agreements, oral or written, relating to the subject matter herein.
