Our Philosophy.

I first build trust, some nice relationship I can build from. The respect will come, through correct guidance and leadership on my part.

For obedience, I first shape and lure positions using food (where the nose goes, the butt follows) they are rewarded for effort, and dedication to the activity. Once behaviour is consistent and stable, I can start to put the name before it (“don’t name it till you love it”)

Practise and repetition in multiple locations to generalise environments. (long line as training wheels). Over the course of your training season (month/s) the dog builds a passion, and desire to work through you.

The positive reinforcement becomes a toy of your choice to play a game with them as a reward for your dogs good behaviours, and knowledge for the handler to spot and intervene at correct moments to prevent unwanted behaviours.

Today’s etiquette is that your dog is able to walk past another dog and not lash out. you’d be amazed at how common this issue is. let us help teach you some leash skills.

If your dog is displaying some extreme behaviours that are potentially dangerous, I’m happy to help you work through them. If something ever needs to stop, you as the handler needs to be able to control the situation and calm your dog down pretty effortlessly. Ive learned a range of skills and techniques that we can fit to you and your dogs needs.

We build a strong foundation of good engagement, the dog needs to know a quick recall, a solid “down” and other implied things such as not pulling on the leash or, staying for duration in a down.

I am experienced with a range of equipment, but usually my go to tool is a longish slip leash (we make them ourselves)

I truely respect the natural pack structure of these animals. we run in packs, We each know our role.
